Instead of a mass of writhing bodies dancing and drumming around the fire, I remember looking out from the big tent & seeing a lone soaked belly dancer talking to a lone soaked warrior around a water-killed dying ember. Sad scene.
But, this year should be better, right? Right? Tell me I'm right. Please?

Wed, April 16, 2008 - 6:33 AMOur camp made liberal use of the dining fly last year. Shelter from the rain, shade from the sun, a well-defined place to keep a table and chairs that saw a lot of use, and of course, the camp BAR. :-D

There will be NO TROLLING IN AFTER 3 PM SATURDAY AND NO ONE RE- ADMITTED TO THE SITE AFTER 3PM SATURDAY WITHOUT THEIR MEDALLION/ TAG OR PROOF OF PAYMENT ( in other words, keep your "stuff" with you just like Pennsic, and plan on being there before 3 PM on Saturday!!)
CARS PARKED ON THE ROADS AROUND THE STORE AND THE BARN WILL BE TOWED..
SERIOUS...
THE PORTA JOHN TRUCKS NEED TO GET THRU THESE AREAS AND NO ONE IS TO PARK ON THE ROAD.
Arrangements have been made with the Tow Company!! You can "pull into" your camp sites , but , Please Stay Off of the Roads!
And the standard No Pets, unless assistance animals.
Other than that, keep thinking positive weather thoughts and have fun!!

- man, - I wonder what all's changed since the last time.... Does everyone still camp around the barn and on Runestone? Last time I was there the Lake area was reserved for and half full of mundanes. Now THAT was funny... ;o) -

I have camped down by the lake the past four years or so, and not seen any "mundanes" other than an occassional fisherman.
I also just found out my buddy Markus & Son will NOT be making it this year, so I'll be on my own, which is fine by me...

I should be pretty easy to find, 1 Guy in a kilt, with a little ol' mundane tent, roasting a hot dog over a propane stove. At least I will get our tree. LOL -

Just a dome tent this year though, no pavilion with full bar. -
