Meh, I don't trust anything beyond a day or two.

I wouldn't trust anything beyond.... um.... now. :) Seriously, last year we had one of those torrential downpours come through and then the sky cleared up so we brought out our stuff to "dry" (ok get less damp) and then another torrential downpour came through.

Another time we had just come back from the battlefield, got to camp and dropped our kit and the deluge started up. So we had a big group outside shower.

I expect that we'll have a lot of weather this year. That's pretty much the safest assumption. Yes indeed I think we'll have weather.

I accept that the gods can toss what ever weather at us that amuses them. Best not to complain. Maybe they might find somewhere else more amusing.

Well insanely strong storms just hit the Pennsic area yesterday. I did not hear reports on the news of the classroom tents having ended up on the highway or porta castles flying over to 422.......so I guess we should just all be thankful the tornado type stuff is hitting BEFORE war and not during. *knock on wood*

Cleveland is getting hammered with on/off showers, cooler weather, and high gusty winds. What we get, usually heads SE (toward Pennsic), so I suspect they're getting lots of rain right now. The front is moving from Canada over Lake Erie, and dumping as it hits further inland (toward Akron).

It is a fantasticly beautiful day here today in western PA. I live but 40 minutes frome Coopers. Tomorrow is supposed to be clear, Saturday scattered showers, beautiful again on Sunday. Not so insanely hot days and delightfully cool nights in the mid 50s.

I always think it funny that we even worry as very few of us are fair weather campers and will weather almost everything. I had a BLAST riding an air matress across our road pond last year and having a mud battle. I only care about setting up my tent before the rain......the rest........well hell it could snow and I'd still be happy to just be there. Just the same the forcast seems to be shaping up to be very nice for war.
