Pennsic dreams...again

I know this thread comes up every year, but I just had to start because...
I have been having a Pennsic dream every night for the last 2 weeks. Last night was so vivid, I didn't want to wake up. Our encampment was in the same place, but there were also tons of merchants in the front of our camp. I had nothing with me but a small overnight bag (because somehow this started as a air trip to Europe). No garb, boots, etc. But of course, the only thing I was worried about was that I had no mug.
Last week I dreamt I had no shirts with me at war, and the week before I dreamt I had no shoes. And then there was the one when somehow all my cats ended up sneaking to war in my car. What a pain that was!
The best thing about all these dreams is that I am at Pennsic every night! It's awesome!
Who else is enjoying War a few weeks early?

Pennsic Anxiety Dreams! I usually start having PADs in Feb or March. I dream I get there and forgot my garb, or my tent, or tent poles or whatever. Or you get there and the event moved, or its the wrong date!

But, this year I have been so crushed with work I am having Work Anxiety Dreams instead. LOL I figure I will still manage at least one PAD before I actually leave!

All the time, almost all year round too... the layout of Pennsic always changes, and I'm always camping in a new spot, but with the same group of people. Sometimes its in front of a building, sometimes its inside a room of a house (how do I put down those guide ropes again?)

What's interesting is that one of my recent ones (a week ago), I was there at/around land grab, and all of pennsic was only the size of the battlefield, and people said it was due to the recession. Made me a lil worried. I hope all my peeps can make it!

My fav pennsic dream layout, there was a north side and south side of Pennsic, much like there is now, but the shops in the north side had a big fountain and period -style carnival/booth games, and the north and south were split by a huge wooden gate that was manned with guards on top of it doing look-out duties. Lots of fire braziers on the roads too, amazing stuff =)

I have Pennsic dreams at random times throughout the year. It's Pennsic, but it never actually looks like the real Pennsic. My favorite one of those was the treehouse... Pennsic (in its entirety) was in this "house" that was built around an enormous tree. I have no idea how the logistics worked on that one but it was still Pennsic.

Oh and my other favorite one was when I found myself declared Queen of Atlantia at "Pennsic" because of some strange ruling. It was another one of those Pennsic dreams where Pennsic wasn't laid out right but it was definitely Pennsic because I knew it was. LOL!

There's only a month to get ready. Ack!

OK - Glynis, you and I are too close on this one.

No treehouses, but have had many, many weird dreams where Pennsic (or some other large event) is being held in some sort of inner-city area, in old brick buildings in a dodgy part of town. (Wee cooking campfires on the third floor..) Or in a sports arena and there's dirt to pitch tents on like those dirt bike rallyes have. Or just some other large building.... Bloody weird.

Used to have weeks of blissful Pennsic dreams after the fact - would dream in War nightly for several weeks on end after my 1st 2 or 3 times there.... Rarely now though...
