what is happyness?

(i like to spell it this way...)

what is it that makes you happy?

here's a small thing that makes me happy... fun foods, examples:

... a hardboiled egg, cut in half lengthwise, with a saltine cracker stuck point first into the yolk of just one egg half.. this makes a cute little sailboat !!!

...cooked hotdoggs, with one end sliced lengthwise halfway down the hotdogg-four times...this makes eight 'tenticals'... and vola! you've got an octo-wienie!!!

...or maybe just core an apple, and fill the center with chunky style peanut butter... or maybe make a jack-o-lantern face in the cored apple first, before filling it with peanut butter..

i try to keep some cinnimin swirled in a tub of margerine or butter in the fridge... this way i can use some splenda to make quik and easy cinnimin toast...

: )

mmmMMmmmm : )

A hot cup of coffe and a horrible scifi/horror movie after work. The more horribler the better. I'm a firm believer that once a movie sucks so much, it acctually starts to be good again. I watched Black Knight for like the 10th time last night and laughed my ass off. Martin Lawrence gets eaten by Roman Gladiator lions at the end (best part of the flik)!

Mongol General: We have won again. That is good! But what is best in life?

A pavilion glowing with candle light, and filled with laughter. A bar well stocked with cider, mead, and scotch. A crackling fire, a cool breeze, a sky full of stars and a full moon. A late night stroll with a candle-lit lantern, where all you pass greet you. The myriad sounds of artful music surrounding you. The clank of your armor as you stumble and bump into it on your way to bed, knowing you'll be in it soon...

    That is good.

    The smell of wood smoke.
The sound of rain on the outside of a tent that is dry on the inside.
    Candle light
Real food (nothing frozen, micowaved, or sold with a toy)
    Hugs

When the night is so cold and dark you can hear the ice squeak under your feet, and see the moon cast shadows, so silent you can hear your neighbor sneeze half a mile away across the valley. When the day is so warm that your pint glass sweats when full of beer from the tap, the smell off the grill while the sound of friends and family laughing is carried on the warm breeze. The sound a couple of thousand of your best friends make as they close on each other across a field while wearing armor. Woodsmoke and a sea of tents and pavilions as far as the eye can see. A gaggle of dogs chasing each other in the park just before sunset. Waking up knowing that the biggest decision you have to make today is what you will have for breakfast . The moment when you decide that piece of carving , a painting or a story is complete enough to let it go so you can start on the next one...... allot of things make me happy , these are the ones that did it today.

I have to agree with Lavendar and Summer.

I leave the smell of summer. I cool breeze.

How bout a ride in the convertible with your hubby on date night? Our first date in a long time.
Dinner conversation not interrupted by a 12 year old.
Lingering after dinner because we didn't have a bored kid with us.
Oh using a $25 gift certicate toward the meal that was an award from work. :-)

Of course Monday night when she was back, having a 12 year still need you enough to put her head on your lap and fall asleep makes me happy too.

Happyness is sitting our new deck knowing my husband and his father built it. Happyness will be showing the deck off to my parents for Father's Day.
