Cooper's Lake Well Water

This is what a bottle of Cooper's Lake Water looks like after it's been settling for about eight years.

Yikes! Is the water that color or has the bottle aged? And what a lovely pile of sediment!

The bottle is still clear.

That's all rust in the water.

The wele-water is perfectly clear when it comes out of the ground,
but within about 30 minutes of being exposed to air, the iron in the
water oxidizes and turns brown.

After a long time (in this case, several years) the iron oxide settles out.

BLECK!! Sort of like the well water at my Mother's house. I could hardly stand to take showers there because it smelt like I was washing in blood. Thank heavens they now have "city water"....
